Maintenance Tech role is to maintain building operations and ensure the facilities are safe and functional at all times while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Participates in on-call program to act on maintenance emergencies across portfolio.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure a well-maintained Property

  • Participate in all types of maintenance projects - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct air conditioning failures/heating failures
  • Trouble-shoots, diagnose, repair, or replace appliances
  • Repairs electrical problems
  • Repairs plumbing problems
  • Patch, repair, and replace drywall and paint as necessary
  • Assists in monitoring inventory of: maintenance/cleaning supplies, facilitating accurate replacement orders
  • Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure proper functioning, operation, and maintenance of all equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, collaborating on the approved vendor list, keeping vendor list updated, and publishing the list for the properties.
  • Works with Maintenance Supervisor to meet and exceed the needs of the facility
  • Execute preventative maintenance program as directed
  • Pool maintenance
  • Repairs for items such as showers, sinks, appliances, and walls

Deliver the Saturday Experience to current and future residents

  • Make vacant units ready for new move-ins
  • Responsible for Unit Turn painting
  • Incorporates both safety and customer service in the performance of all job duties
  • Re-key locks and cut keys as necessary
  • Oversee all work orders from start to finish
  • Participate in on-call rotation
