Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

Location: Wadesboro
Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay: $25.00

Direct Hire role

Are you an experienced industrial maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment and keeping operations running smoothly? We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team on a night shift schedule.

This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, advanced welding and fabrication skills, and experience maintaining heavy industrial equipment in a production environment.

What You'll Do
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

  • Install and assist with startup of new equipment

  • Support fabrication, construction, and special maintenance projects

  • Follow established preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime

  • Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective repairs

  • Change electrical breakers and starters and utilize voltage, amp, and ohm meters

  • Train and mentor junior maintenance team members

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all company safety procedures

QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience

  • Advanced welding, piping, and fabrication skills

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities with mechanical and electrical equipment

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks

  • Must be able to pass a skills assessment involving 480V combination starter/breaker boxes and control voltage systems

Preferred
  • Vocational or technical school training

  • Experience working in heavy manufacturing, processing, rendering, recycling, or similar industrial environments

  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

  • Strong math skills and ability to work with fractions, decimals, and measurements
