Job Title: Dietary Aide - Healthcare

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Hours: Part-time 6:30 am - 2:30pm or 7:00am - 3:00pm

Job Description:

The Dietary Aide/Server provides above average hospitality services. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by BSG Maintenance location based on client requirements and business needs.

Dietary Aide Responsibilities:

  1. Make and serve coffee.ย 
  2. Meal Prep: Helps with food prep as assigned. Stock serving areas. Set up dining areas.
  3. Cleaning: Clean and sanitize all equipment, appliances, and work areas. Assist with cleaning of dining rooms. Utilize dishwasher appropriately and put away clean dishes. Light cleaning of common areas.
  4. Stocking as needed.
  5. Reporting: Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate supervisor. Understand nutritional requirements for residents. Record drink temperatures and dish machine.
  6. Resident Interaction: Be polite and helpful to residents, responding to their requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  7. Compliance: Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  8. Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient and thorough services of all areas assigned. Maintain a professional relationship with co-workers & other staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 18+ years of age
  • Ability to use a dishwasher and record temperatures.
  • Ability to pass a TB Test and Healthcare background check.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
  • Ability to get to and from work reliably when scheduled.
