Job description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team!
Please note that our maintenance services are for community associations and involves outdoor work in all types of weather.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and light maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose
  • Major repairs and construction
  • Maintain material and supply inventory
  • Other as required in all areas of maintenance & construction
  • Supervisor - Prioritize work orders and ensure technicians perform quality work in an efficient manner
Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in maintenance including light electrical, light plumbing, framing, painting, sheetrock repair
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle a physical workload including:
    • The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly
    • The ability to respond quickly to sounds
    • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
    • The ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds
    • The ability to work in extreme weather
    • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work weekends and after hour on-call responsibilities
