This role is responsible for maintenance execution, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, maintenance planning and scheduling, contractor management, and maintenance team development. The Ovid facility is one of MMPA's most complex manufacturing operations, and this position plays a critical role in strengthening maintenance capability, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continued operational growth. The Maintenance Manager partners closely with Operations, Engineering, and HSE to drive maintenance excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop maintenance supervisors, mechanics, and electricians.Ensure safe and effective maintenance support for manufacturing operations.Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.Improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and CMMS utilization.Partner with Operations to establish maintenance priorities and support production goals.Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis efforts for recurring equipment issues.Manage maintenance contractors, inventory, and maintenance expenditures.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance operations.Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.8+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.Experience leading maintenance operations in a 24/7 production environment.Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, reliability, CMMS, and troubleshooting.Experience developing and leading technical teams.Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Food or dairy manufacturing experience.Experience leading mechanical and electrical/controls maintenance teams.Experience with reliability improvement and root-cause analysis.Experience with industrial automation, utilities, refrigeration, or process systems.
