Job description

Job Summary
We’re looking for a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team! You’ll make sure commercial and residential properties are operating efficiently, The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maintenance experience. Hours can average 30-40 in winter and 40-50 in warmer weather. We work until the work is professional and complete! 
Must be able to lift 75 pounds 
Our company does a large range of jobs specializing in carpet cleaning and plumbing. Anything to do with property maintenance. May be required to help on other jobs, manual labor: digging up underground pipe, transporting bags of cement, and work as a team.
Responsibilities 
  • Complete work orders as requested by management teams on multiple locations throughout the day such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs.
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
  • Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience
  • Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
  • Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
  • Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends, alternating weeks
  • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • OSHA certification or willingness to undergo safety training.
