Maintenance Technician

Location

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Must be available for Holidays and weekends.

Hours: Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and special events dates. 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry

  • Respond promptly to guest service requests for maintenance issues

  • Inspect and maintain building systems including safety equipment and emergency lighting

  • Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and systems

  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems and equipment

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas and maintenance shop

  • Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or landscaping

  • Work with contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance logs

  • Ensure compliance with hotel safety and security procedures

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus

  • Proven experience in general maintenance, facility repair, or related field

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems

  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

  • Must pass background check and have reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hotel or hospitality maintenance experience

  • EPA certification or relevant trade license
