Job description

American Concrete Products is a leading manufacturer of quality concrete products for various industries. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable maintenance welder to join our team. The welder will be responsible for maintaining and repairing forms, machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure smooth operations and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance and welding on forms, machinery, and equipment
  • Operation of MIG and Stick (SMAW) welding machines
  • Detect and diagnose issues using testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting equipment.
  • Other general labor/maintenance duties as assigned

Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED w/ 1-2 years of related welding experience is required
    • SMAW and MIG welding experience
    • Fabrication experience
    • Must be able to read blueprints with ease
    • Some experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
    • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems a plus
