Maintenance Technician
Location: Rochester, Minnesota
Pay: $28 - $32 per hour Schedule: 40 hours per week, occasional weekends as needed. Participation in an on-call rotation with other properties required.
Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands and learning new skills? Do you like variety in your work and take pride in keeping things running smoothly?
If so, this could be a great opportunity to start or grow your career in property maintenance. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Metes and Bounds at our Valley View Estates and South Ridge Townhomes properties.
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, and interested in learning the maintenance field while getting paid to develop new skills. You'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced team members while helping maintain and improve our townhome community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing apartments for new residents, including light repairs and painting
• General maintenance tasks such as basic carpentry and minor repairs
• Support routine property upkeep and grounds maintenance
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
• Participate in an on-call rotation with other properties as needed
• Travel between nearby properties using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
