This position is eligible for a $500 sign on bonus (to be received upon hire) and $1,000 stay on bonus (to be received after 6 months of employment).
The Maintenance Tech 2 delivers hands-on technical support for equipment, machinery, tools, furniture, modular offices, and facility systems in low-impact, non-critical environments. This role ensures smooth daily operations by performing preventive maintenance and executing timely corrective repairs with basic troubleshooting expertise.
Focused on reliability and customer satisfaction, the Maintenance Tech 2 optimizes costs and resources while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. Key responsibilities include replenishing GPT machines, troubleshooting issues with conveyors and box machines, and ensuring vehicles are charged.
What You Will Do
  • Preventive Maintenance:
    • Proactively identify issues, provide clear feedback to the supervisor, and recommend improvements to strengthen equipment reliability and optimize the preventive maintenance strategy.
    • Support Maintenance Tech 1s when needed.
  • Corrective Maintenance:
    • Diagnose and repair reported equipment issues quickly and effectively to restore optimal working conditions.
    • Communicate findings and recurring concerns to the supervisor and collaborate with senior technicians when troubleshooting complex or repeat problems.
  • Maintenance Work Requests:
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests by partnering with customers to understand needs and deliver timely, high-quality solutions.
    • Track required materials, spare parts, and supplies to ensure efficient execution and minimize downtime.
  • Special Projects:
    • Support equipment installations, upgrades, layout changes, refurbishments, and other improvement initiatives, contributing to successful project execution and continuous operational enhancement.
    • Analyze problems using the A3 tool and root cause analysis.

What You Will Bring
  • Education: Highschool diploma or GED required. Technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in maintenance role working with conveyors, automated systems, and industrial trucks.
  • Skills: Experience with 480v 3 phase power, PLC, fabrication, skyjacks, and man lifts.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 11pm - 7am. Must be open to potential weekend shifts as well.

Compensation: The expected base pay range for this role is $28 - $32 an hour + 20% shift differential for night shift. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
