Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our multifamily community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of maintenance practices.

Duties:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Manage the maintenance management system for tracking work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and inventory control.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Complete resident service requests on a variety of maintenance related items HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, etc.
  • Manage vendors to ensure they meet quality control standards and deadlines
  • Prepare apartment homes for new residents within company standards
  • Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills:
  • Proven management skills with experience in supervising maintenance personnel.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and multifamily property management.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
