Maintenance Supervisor-The Alexander | Rock Hill, SC
STARTING AT $30/hr. + Bonuses | Career Growth | Generous PTO & Benefits
Brookside Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at a large, 360 unit multifamily community in Rock Hill, SC.
This is an opportunity for a proven maintenance leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has extensive HVAC and apartment maintenance experience, and enjoys leading a high-performing maintenance team. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their community, prioritizes resident satisfaction, and leads by example.
What You'll Do
  • Lead all daily maintenance operations for a 350+ apartment home community
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a large onsite maintenance team
  • Coordinate apartment turns to support occupancy goals
  • Prioritize and oversee resident service requests while maintaining high customer service standards
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs and conduct routine property inspections
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems
  • Manage maintenance inventory, vendor relationships, and contractor performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and local regulations
  • Participate in the property's emergency on-call rotation

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of multifamily maintenance experience
  • At least 2 years of Maintenance Supervisor experience leading a maintenance team
  • Experience overseeing maintenance operations for a large apartment community (350+ units preferred)
  • EPA Certification required
  • Strong HVAC diagnostic and repair experience
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and general maintenance
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service
