Job Description
We are a growing, fast-paced property management office seeking a maintenance supervisor in Farmington Hills, MI. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, self-motivated and highly organized. The applicant must have reliable transportation, the ability to pass a background check, and have experience managing a team.
Responsibilities
• Electrical work
• Plumbing
• Mechanical (heating and cooling)
• Grounds and general maintenance
• Mulching and maintaining flower beds
• Leaf removal
• Must know how to operate and maintain lawn equipment (leaf blowers, mowers, weed whacker)
• Mowing, weeding, edging and trimming
• Responding to emergency requests
• Perform repair of buildings and equipment
• Assist with the renovation/remodeling of trailers
• Maintain record of scheduled services
• On call for emergency situations
• Various others as deemed necessary
Requirements and skills
• Proven experience (>3yrs) as a supervisor leading others in a fast pace environment
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Working knowledge of office equipment
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
