Job description

This is a fully onsite position supporting the Commonwealth LNG (CWLNG) Project near Lake Charles, Louisiana. Working onsite is a condition of employment. If you are not willing or able to work onsite in Louisiana, please do not apply. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this position.

About the Role

This is a mid-level Subcontracts position supporting large EPC and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience supporting subcontract administration, purchase order management, subcontract compliance, vendor coordination, and project reporting within a fast-paced engineering or construction environment.

This role will work closely with Subcontracts Managers, Project Controls, Construction Teams, Procurement, and Finance to support the full subcontract lifecycle from bid support through closeout activities.

Key Responsibilities Subcontract Administration & Project Support

  • Support the administration and coordination of construction and service subcontracts for domestic and international projects.
  • Prepare, maintain, and organize subcontract files and documentation in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.
  • Assist with subcontract issuance, amendments, change orders, and closeout documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure subcontract deliverables, approvals, and documentation are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Track subcontractor correspondence, meeting minutes, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
  • Support subcontract compliance activities and ensure proper documentation is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Systems, Reporting & Financial Support

  • Utilize Oracle or ERP systems to support purchase order creation, change orders, invoice tracking, and subcontract reporting.
  • Generate and maintain subcontract expenditure reports and project-related analytics.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding, setup, and prequalification coordination.
  • Support invoice resolution activities and work closely with Finance and Project Controls teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with subcontract reconciliation and project closeout activities.

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate meetings with subcontractors, project teams, and internal departments.
  • Support project mobilization and execution activities as required.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to maintain schedules, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all project documentation and communications.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for project assignments or site support as needed.
  • Potential for rotational project assignments depending on business needs.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience in subcontract administration, procurement support, construction coordination, or EPC project support.
  • Prior experience supporting industrial, construction, engineering, energy, or EPC projects strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational and document management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or large industrial construction projects.
  • Knowledge of subcontract pricing structures, change management, and subcontract lifecycle processes.
  • Familiarity with subcontract compliance and project controls processes.
