Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled SRE Engineer with strong hands-on experience in monitoring, production support, debugging, and maintaining mission-critical applications. The role requires strong expertise in Core Java, modern observability tools, and hands-on experience with databases, CI/CD, cloud systems, and L1/L2 production support-preferably in the banking industry.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support & Reliability
  • Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of production systems.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents with minimal downtime.
  • Perform L1/L2 support, including prioritizing and managing incoming issues.
  • Identify defects, collaborate with development teams, and track fixes based on severity.
  • Implement and validate RFCs (Request for Change) as part of release cycles.
  • Conduct pre- and post-validation during traffic diversion or infrastructure changes.
Monitoring & Observability
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain monitoring tools, alerts, and dashboards using:
    • Splunk
    • Kibana
    • Grafana
  • Ensure system metrics, logs, and traces are continuously captured and actionable.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
  • Automate operational workflows to reduce manual tasks and enhance reliability.
