Line Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Miami, Florida 33126
Department: Maintenance

About the Role

7 Air is seeking a Line Maintenance Mechanic (A&P Technician) to support the daily maintenance and safety of our aircraft. In this role, you will perform maintenance, ensure compliance with FAA regulations, and help keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and takes pride in high-quality work.


What You’ll Do
  • Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
  • Complete and verify maintenance records, logbooks, and work orders
  • Ensure tools and equipment are in proper working condition and calibrated before use
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines during maintenance operations
  • Use current technical data and manuals when performing maintenance tasks
  • Properly handle, store, and preserve aircraft parts and components
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or unairworthy conditions to the Maintenance Manager
  • Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins, and company procedures
  • Approve work performed and return aircraft/components to service as authorized                 
What We’re Looking For
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (required)
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Strong knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145 regulations
  • Familiarity with inspection methods, tools, and aircraft maintenance procedures
  • Ability to use inspection equipment and visual inspection aids effectively
  • Authorized to approve aircraft/components for return to service (per FAA Part 65)
  • Previous aviation maintenance experience preferred
