This role ensures all vehicles and equipment remain operational โ€” enabling 20โ€“30 essential routes and supporting teams who depend on consistent uptime. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES (First 12 Months)
  • Fleet Readiness: Achieve 95%+ equipment availability across all fleet assets through proactive maintenance scheduling and rapid repair turnaround.

  • Safety Leadership: Enforce a zero-incident safety standard through daily toolbox talks, disciplined LOTO procedures, and compliance training.

  • Team Development: Coach and upskill a team of diesel technicians, fostering cross-training and readiness for complex diagnostics and repairs.

  • Operational Excellence: Implement process improvements that reduce unplanned downtime by 20% and increase shop productivity.
