Job Title: Maintenance Technician


About the Job

Join Polly Management as a Maintenance Technician to keep our Dairy Queen restaurants running smoothly! This is a hands-on, independent role where you will be the expert responsible for repairing and maintaining all specialized equipment and facility needs across our assigned locations.

We provide a company vehicle and gas card for all work travel.


What You'll Be Doing (Core Responsibilities)

Reporting to the Field Supervisor, you will handle a mix of equipment and building maintenance:

โ€ข Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot and fix all major restaurant equipment (soft serve machines, fryers, grills, ice machines, HVAC, coolers/freezers).

โ€ข Facility Repairs: Perform general building maintenance, including basic repairs to electrical, plumbing, painting, and floors.

โ€ข Preventative Care: Follow a schedule of preventative maintenance (PMs) to keep critical systems operating efficiently.

โ€ข Documentation: Track repair status of equipment and coordinate with outside contractors when needed.

We Are Looking For (Requirements)

We are seeking a mechanically skilled individual who can jump right in:

โ€ข Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in general maintenance or mechanical repair (commercial/food service preferred).

โ€ข Specialized Experience: QSR equipment maintenance or EPA 608 Certification

โ€ข Skills: Proficient with basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.

โ€ข Tools: Must be comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic testing devices. Must provide your own common hand tools.

โ€ข License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required.

โ€ข Education: High School Diploma or GED.
