As a Maintenance Technician at Deerfield Apartments, you’ll be at the heart of that mission: ensuring our residents live in well-maintained, comfortable, and safe spaces they’re proud to call home.

This is more than a maintenance job, it’s a chance to be a key part of a supportive team, grow your skills, and make a real difference in your community.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take ownership of maintaining the physical condition of the community, inside and out.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, electrical issues, plumbing problems, and appliances (stoves, dishwashers, refrigerators, disposals, etc.).
  • Complete service requests within 24 hours quickly, efficiently, and with care,
  • Perform routine upkeep and preventive maintenance to keep everything running smoothly,
  • Help maintain excellent curb appeal: remove debris, pressure wash exteriors, maintain grounds, and more.
  • Rotate on-call duties with the maintenance team for after-hours and occasional holiday/weekend support.
  • Keep inventory of commonly used parts and materials to control maintenance expenditures.
  • Collaborate with team members and vendors and always go the extra mile for residents.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous property maintenance experience
  • HVAC certification (preferred but not required)
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, appliances, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
  • Great communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
