Job description

Job Responsibilities The Maintenance Manager provides leadership and oversight for all campus maintenance operations, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and energy management. This position ensures that maintenance services are delivered efficiently, safely, and to high standards of quality. The Maintenance Manager supervises maintenance staff, assigns and reviews daily work, manages budgets and schedules, and partners with campus stakeholders to plan and coordinate projects.

Minimum and Additional Requirements Associate's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field, or 7 years of progressive experience in maintenance or facilities management, including supervisory experience. Working knowledge of multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, energy management). Must possess excellent customer service skills, strong ethical standards, and a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Additional Comments Must possess strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service abilities. Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.

Proficiency with work order management systems and preventive maintenance programs. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
