The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a Facilities Maintenance Manager to our Lancer Hospitality team in Saint Paul, MN. The Facilities Maintenance Manager oversees the operational upkeep, repair, and safety of Rides and Commercial buildings, grounds, and food service equipment. They manage maintenance team technicians, coordinate contractors, handle budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal facility functionality.

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintenance Operations: Directs repairs and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems including amusement rides.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develops and implements schedules to prevent equipment failure on Rides
  • Team Leadership: Selects, trains, and supervises Maintenance Staff Technicians.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensures compliance with safety regulations (OSHA), building codes, and environmental regulations.
  • Budgeting & Planning: Manages departmental budgets, capital expenditures, and resource allocation.


What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years in facility maintenance management or a related technical field.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering or facility management is preferred.
  • Understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems. Valid Certified Pool Operators Certificate to Operate Splash Pad
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication for managing vendors and reporting to leadership.
  • Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and office software.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Experience in capital budget development and cost control.
  • Knowledge of safety standards (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, etc).

Compensation Range:
$60,000-65,000/year dependent on experience
