Your Role

As Maintenance Manager, you'll lead all building maintenance, preventative care, and compliance activities for the property. You'll supervise the maintenance team, manage outside contractors, and ensure the facility operates safely, efficiently and in line with Resolute Road Hospitality and brand standards. What You'll Do

  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all hotel systems
  • Complete and document work orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs to inspect the condition of the building and surrounding areas
  • Maintain working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers, chillers, water softeners, and shuttle vehicles
  • Ensure property is compliant with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and brand maintenance standards
  • Manage the hiring, onboarding, training, and development of the maintenance team
  • Coordinate all inspections, including fire, safety, and pool/spa' ensure timely correction of discrepancies
  • Oversee ordering and inventory control of tools, supplies, and maintenance equipment
  • Manage external vendors and contractors scheduling for repairs, inspections, or project work
  • Maintain logs and compliance records for monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance requirements
  • Respond quickly and professionally to guest maintenance requests and safety concerns
  • Operate hotel systems in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Fill in as shuttle driver when needed (valid driver's license required)
  • Maintain a professional image and communication with all departments and guests
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other technical trades (certification preferred)
  • Strong understanding of building maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repair
  • Familiar with reading blueprints and interpreting building codes and technical specifications
  • Ability to lead and mentor maintenance team members
  • Proficient in documenting inspections, inventories, and work orders
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross departmentally
  • Working knowledge of budget management and cost estimation for repairs/projects
  • High attention to safety, cleanliness, and preventive care practices

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Vocational/technical training in mechanical or electrical fields preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services
  • Prior hotel or hospitality industry experience strongly preferred
  • Previous supervisory or management experience required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Trade certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical highly preferred
  • TIPS or equivalent certification
