Job description

RC Surface Helper

Location: Elko, NV 89801

Job Overview

The RC helper supports drilling operations by assisting the Driller and crew with extraction, handling, site maintenance, and equipment support. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safe, efficient, and organized drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under instructions of driller/drilling field supervisor.
  • Must follow all policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure safety.
  • May be required to operate non-drilling equipment such as light or heavy vehicles, tele handlers, forklift, etc.
  • Maintain accurate operating records, including daily shift reports and inventory logs.
  • Support drilling operations such as handling rods and drilling tools, collect and handle samples, house keeping, etc.
  • Be physically fit for duty
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must have minimum of 1+ years directly related experience.
  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Sufficient language skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Ability to pass a hair follicle drug screen and background
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures strictly.
