As Engineer II- Maintenance, you support the daily operations of the facilities department by performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across the property. You work independently on most assignments and collaborate with senior engineers when specialized expertise is required. Your technical skills, attention to safety, and commitment to guest service help ensure a well-maintained, efficient, and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.

Job Description:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
  • Operate and monitor boilers, chillers, air compressors, and related mechanical systems under minimal supervision or in coordination with senior engineers
  • Conduct routine inspections of key operational areas (e.g., central plant, refrigeration, elevators, lighting, restrooms, exhaust fans, mechanical/electrical rooms), reporting irregularities and assisting with necessary repairs
  • Respond to guest room service calls and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and professionally
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering, building maintenance, or a related field
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong mechanical and analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment

  • This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana
  • At least 21 years of age
