This is a Full-time role.
Join our team as a Preventative Maintenance Engineer
Are you ready to be the hero who keeps things running smoothly? As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you'll tackle repairs, team up to keep equipment in top shape, and jump in wherever you're needed-from carpentry to plumbing and even painting. You'll help guests, respond to work orders, and maybe even take the wheel of the shuttle van (at some properties). Safety and efficiency are your superpowers!
KEY SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Fix-It Pro: Master the art of preventative maintenance-whether it's swapping bulbs, patching vinyl, touching up paint, or repairing furniture and tiles, you'll keep everything looking sharp and running smoothly.
  • Equipment Whisperer: Take charge of repairs and tune-ups for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen gadgets, laundry gear, HVAC systems, and even the swimming pool and hot tub, ensuring peak performance all around.
  • Safety Hero: Respond quickly to alarms, investigate their cause, and report findings to the Front Desk, keeping everyone safe and in the know.
  • Trusted Access: Act responsibly with access to sensitive hotel areas and information-including safes, master keys, storage rooms, and secured files-always maintaining a high level of integrity and trust.
  • Guest Connection: Interact with guests and colleagues, sometimes unsupervised, represent the company with professionalism and good judgment, and drive safely when needed for business.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
  • Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state (property specific)
  • Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) (property specific)
