Tagg-N-Go Car Wash is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our Southern Utah locations. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping our car wash sites running smoothly. This position requires daily travel within your assigned area. Those with additional experience are encouraged to apply. Pay is based on experience.

This position typically works 40-50 per week and must have night and weekend availability.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all sites are operating efficiently and well-maintained.
  • Travel between locations within your designated area to perform routine, scheduled maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and perform timely, unscheduled repairs as needed.
  • Install, repair, and maintain car wash equipment using knowledge of hydraulics, welding, plumbing, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  • Inspect equipment, identify necessary repairs, and order replacement parts.
  • Maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies.
  • Assist with projects and new equipment installations as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to complete repairs efficiently.
  • Demonstrate pride in workmanship and a commitment to minimizing site downtime.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of industrial or production maintenance experience required.
  • A valid, unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record are required and must be maintained throughout the duration of employment.
  • Must provide your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) at the time of the employment offer.
  • Experience with electrical systems, mechanical aptitude, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, and plumbing.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • A sense of urgency and dedication to keeping sites operational.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.

Important Requirement:

Upon offer, selected candidates must complete a pre-hire background check and provide their Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) at the time of the employment offer. Maintenance Technicians are required to maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record as a condition of employment.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, and perform repetitive motions for repairs or installations.
  • Lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to differentiate colors to identify wiring and equipment indicators.
  • Ability to climb and work from ladders.
