Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing, but not limited to preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Assists implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and documenting all the equipment preventative maintenance.
  • Performs troubleshooting by using any precision measuring equipment and/or testing instruments, listening for problems from production employees and/or engineering techs to locate source problems.
  • Perform any maintenance and repairs of the equipment to reduce downtime.
  • Perform troubleshooting of failures that occur in the equipment including electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, hydraulic schematics, and electrical schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Perform electrical installations and disconnections and connect machine tools and other machinery.
  • Utilize Lock Out / Tag Out procedures while performing maintenance to equipment when required
  • Assists in the preparation of mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies healthy inventories to avoid machine downtime.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

Requirements
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
    • High school diploma or equivalent,
    • Minimum of 2 yrs. of maintenance experience working on manual & CNC equipment (CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Laser cutters, markers and welders and PLC systems)
    • Experience in a medical manufacturing work environment preferred
    • Basic tooling, blueprint and programming understanding
    • GMP
