The Maintenance Manager will lead a diverse group of electrical and mechanical maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient operations and accountability in meetingplantobjectives. By delegating tasks effectively and fostering a collaborative environment, the Maintenance Manager will enhance team performance and minimize downtime, ultimately driving continuous improvement in maintenance processes. Taking ownership of responsibilities is essential for achieving operational excellence in this pivotal position.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE:

Maintenance Operations

  • Supervise planned corrective maintenance work for electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Ensure installations and repairs comply with approved work orders, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and ensure reliability of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Support the planning and coordination of work orders within the maintenance department.

Preventive Maintenance and Continuous Improvement

  • Support the evaluation, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Program.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve maintenance strategies for electrical instruments, facilities, components, and electrical grid systems.
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend improvements to increase reliability, efficiency, and safety.

MRO Administration and Asset Management

  • Oversee MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) inventory management, ensuring availability of critical spare parts and maintenance materials.
  • Review and approve requisitions for maintenance materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Monitor usage trends of maintenance materials to improve cost efficiency and planning.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of maintenance materials within the CMMS

Strategic and Operational Management

  • Contribute to operational goals by providing recommendations for strategic planning and performance reviews.
  • Maintain production, productivity, quality, and operational standards.
  • Complete audits, analyze trends, identify problems, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Support financial objectives by forecasting maintenance requirements and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Evaluate needs for new equipment, calculate costs, and assist in budget preparation with senior management.
  • Estimate material, labor, and project costs to support maintenance and capital budgets.

Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Ensure installation and operational processes meet required technical specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Direct or coordinate installation, maintenance, documentation, testing, and support activities to ensure compliance with codes and specifications.

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead daily meetings with the maintenance team to review priorities, safety topics, and operational updates.
  • Participate in meetings with maintenance staff to communicate relevant information and feedback from the team.
  • Supervise the performance of mechanical and electrical facilitators, identifying training needs and coordinating development programs.

Technical Coordination

  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, vendors, and internal stakeholders to discuss engineering products, projects, and maintenance requirements.
  • Prepare specifications for the purchase of electrical equipment and materials.
  • Work with a variety of technicians and technical specialists to ensure efficient maintenance execution.

Skills and Education:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent - Required

Master's degree - Engineering Management or equivalent -Preferable

Experience: (All Required)

5 - 10 years in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

2 - 4 years in Maintenance Supervision

1-2 years in Project Management (Preferable)

2- 4 Years in CMMS SAP USE

0- 1 Years in ISO 9000, ISO 14000, OSHA 18000

0-1 Years in Drawing Analysis

0-1 Years in GMP/GDP

2-4 Years in Design and Implement Predictive & Preventive Maintenance

Licenses / Certifications:

Professional Engineer License - Preferable

Skills: ( All Required)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish

Familiarity in electronic systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of GMP and ISO
