Job description

Logistics Coordinator

Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented LTL Shipping Coordinator to join our team! This position is responsible for coordinating less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments to multiple customers and locations, ensuring freight is scheduled, documented, tracked, and delivered accurately and on time.

If you have experience with LTL freight, carrier scheduling, shipping documentation, customer service, or transportation logistics, this could be a great opportunity to put your skills to work in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Schedule daily LTL shipments with multiple freight carriers
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries for multiple customers and locations
  • Select carriers based on service requirements, cost, and delivery schedules
  • Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping labels, and freight documentation
  • Communicate with customers regarding shipment schedules, tracking information, and delivery updates
  • Track shipments and proactively address delays, missed pickups, damages, and delivery issues
  • Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure freight is ready for pickup
  • Obtain and compare freight rates and identify cost-effective shipping options
  • Maintain accurate shipment records in transportation systems and/or spreadsheets
  • Work directly with LTL carriers, freight brokers, customers, and internal departments
  • Ensure shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and documented
  • Investigate freight discrepancies, claims, and delivery issues
  • Manage changing priorities and multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For:
  • 1-3 years of experience in LTL shipping, logistics, transportation, freight coordination, or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with LTL carriers, freight terminology, and shipping documentation
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and competing priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with ERP, transportation management, or shipping software is a plus
The Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple shipments and priorities at once. You'll need to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, brokers, and internal teams while staying on top of shipment details and resolving issues quickly.

A strong understanding of freight coordination and the ability to keep shipments moving accurately and on schedule will be key to success in this role.

Apply today! We'd love to connect with candidates who have LTL, shipping, logistics, transportation, freight coordination, or related experience.
