Description

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment, ensuring that the facilities are in optimal working condition. The ideal candidate will possess basic handyman and repair skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while working collaboratively with other departments. 


Responsibilities:

  • Perform a morning walk-through of all facilities to identify any immediate issues
  • Complete basic repairs and improvements, including light plumbing (e.g., faucet/disposal replacement, minor leak fixes, toilet repair), painting, trim work, bulb/fixture replacements, and other small-scale tasks 
  • Serve as the point of contact for various vendors, including HVAC, roofing, lawn care & snow removal, fire safety (Cintas), hi-lo repair, and more 
  • Coordinate and manage the preventive and routine maintenance program for all machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices 
  • Review maintenance requests and prepare action plans for the service and repair (in house and out of house) 
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs 
  • Provide weekly status updates to the Manager and communicate scheduled maintenance plans and emergency updates with Leadership 

Shift: Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm


Hourly rate: $18.00 - $20.00

Requirements

  • Must have prior hands-on maintenance experience and be comfortable completing basic building repairs and general maintenance tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience in a maintenance coordinator or similar role within a manufacturing or machining environment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
