Job description

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support relating to maintenance operations. Position is non-exempt. Position reports directly to the Director of Fleet Maintenance.
REQUIRED HOURS: Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
DUTIES:
  1. Works with New Employees for Maintenance and Buildings and Grounds and enters their information into the Maintenance database.
  2. Schedules Vendor/Contractor Pm's for Buildings and Grounds department.
  3. Works with Assistant Fleet Manager to arrange new uniforms for all new hires.
  4. Issues and maintains all Lockers and Mailboxes for all Employees in the Department.
  5. Reviews monthly tire report. Work with contracted company to create monthly invoice per lease agreement.
  6. Maintain proper storage of DVIR's and Tire reports for Audits.
  7. Assist with Safety Director in taking employees to and from DOT drug/Alcohol testing facility.
  8. Performs the duties of Payroll Liaison in their absence.
  9. Performs general clerical duties as needed such as answering the phone, making copies, and typing.
  10. Submits requisitions for materials or services required for the department.
  11. Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Minimum Associates degree required (Equivalent work experience in a transportation or disability services setting will be considered.)
  1. Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
  2. Knowledge of basic accounting practices and procedures.
  3. Knowledge of authority policies and procedures.
  4. Skill in the use of such office equipment as a computer, telephone, copier, fax machine, and calculator.
  5. Skill in the use of record-keeping, spreadsheet, and word processing software packages.
  6. Skill in oral and written communication.
