Job description

Our House Assisted Living is looking for a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to join our team!  This position works alongside our full-time Maintenance Director to help keep our community safe, clean, and comfortable for our residents.

Schedule:

  • Part-Time (25 hours per week)
  • Flexible weekday schedule

Starting Pay:

  • $17.00 per hour starting
  • Higher depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general building maintenance and repairs
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Help with painting, drywall repair, and minor plumbing and electrical repairs
  • Complete work orders promptly
  • Maintain the grounds, including seasonal outdoor upkeep
  • Move furniture and equipment as needed
  • Ensure the facility remains safe, clean, and in good working order
  • Assist with emergency maintenance needs when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of general maintenance, repairs, and tools
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field is preferred but not required.
