We are currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant for our Twin Oaks Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center in Mobile, Alabama. The Maintenance Assistant will assist the Director of Maintenance in maintaining the grounds, painting, maintaining the facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, to assist in ensuring that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times. If you have a positive attitude, a passion to serve in a skilled nursing facility, this is the opportunity for you, join our team!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age, High School Diploma or GED
  • One year previous experience in grounds-keeping, painting and overall maintenance skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Must speak and understand English
  • Must have a positive attitude toward the elderly, maintain resident confidentiality, treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect
