Service Plumber Apprentice

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour + Spiffs / Bonuses. We pay based on experience

Hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, some overtime required, never weekends

Job Duties:

  • Assist the Journeyman or Master Plumber with replacing, installing or repairing all types of plumbing fixtures such as water closets, sinks, drinking fountains, showers, kitchen, laboratory, and other heating, water or drainage systems according to plumbing codes
  • Assist the Journeyman or Master Plumber with diagnosing malfunctions, repair and maintenance of plumbing and piping systems including clearing plugged waste lines
  • Drain cleaning

  • Daily use in Service Titan

Job Qualifications:

  • 6 + months of service plumbing experience, or combination of education and experience
  • Connecticut Apprentice Plumbing License is a plus!
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to use tools of the trade including but not limited to: plumbing snakes, augers, drills, saws, hammers, measuring tape, levels and screwdrivers
  • Excellent math skills
  • Ability to follow instructions given by the Journeyman or Master Plumber
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Willing to work in all types of weather
