Job Summary:

The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM z/OS operating systems while leading a team of Mainframe professionals and driving best practices in system administration and disaster recovery.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM z/OS operating system and associated system software such as SMP/E, JES2, RACF, and SMF.
โ€ข Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Mainframe professionals, including system programmers and administrators.
โ€ข Provide expert-level technical guidance on z/OS systems, Mainframe storage, networking, security, and automation.
โ€ข Drive best practices in Mainframe System administration, software upgrades, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
โ€ข Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex system issues and outages.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 7+ years of experience in Mainframe DB2 Administration.
โ€ข Extensive experience as a z/OS System Architect with IODF/IOCP expertise.
โ€ข Experience with IWS (TWS) & JOBTRAC tools.
โ€ข Expertise in z/OS version upgrades.
โ€ข Experience with VTS and hardware upgrades.
โ€ข Experience in migration projects from CA-OPS/MVS to IBM System Automation.
Preferred:
โ€ข Knowledge of Mainframe System Automation tools such as IBM SA z/OS and CA OPS/MVS.
โ€ข Expertise in Mainframe Network Administration.
โ€ข Strong understanding of Storage, RACF, CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, and WAS technologies.
โ€ข Proficiency in REXX, CLIST, and Netview PIPE programming.
โ€ข Ability to prepare and maintain documentation on system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
