Mainframe Programmer
Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin (Onsite)

Role Overview
This role supports a project-based team within the Credit Product Development Journey, contributing to continued delivery across multiple phases. The position involves hands-on development on core Product and Rewards applications within a fast-paced Agile team. This is a senior-level role for a developer with extensive experience in high-volume credit card processing systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of an established Agile delivery team supporting Product and Rewards applications.
  • Participate in team Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Perform hands-on mainframe development using COBOL and DB2.
  • Execute coding, unit testing, integration testing, and support for user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Support enhancements, defect fixes, and ongoing maintenance of high-volume transactional systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver project milestones across multiple phases of the initiative.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with Mainframe COBOL and DB2.
  • Experience supporting large-scale, high-volume batch or online processing systems.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within an Agile development team.
  • A solid understanding of the full development lifecycle, including testing and production support.
Compensation & Benefits
A competitive pay rate is offered for this contract position - rate target is 59-62/hr W2, but is flexible.
