Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL and Db2.
  • Perform production support activities, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and support batch processing environments and scheduled jobs.
  • Develop, modify, and maintain JCL scripts for batch execution and data processing.
  • Work with Control-M for job scheduling, monitoring, and batch workflow management.
  • Manage application migrations and deployments using Changeman.
  • Participate in on-call production support activities as required.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Mainframe Development.
  • Hands-on experience with COBOL programming.
  • Experience working with Db2 databases, including SQL development and optimization.
  • Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language).
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting batch processing systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Control-M job scheduling and monitoring.
