Responsibilities:
The IT Specialist provides support to end users for Personal Computer (PC), server, or mainframe applications and hardware. This role may interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and identify and correct core problems. The IT Specialist simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties, recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems, and maintains currency and the highest level of technical skill in the field of expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to end users for PC, server, or mainframe applications and hardware.
  • Interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and identify and correct core problems.
  • Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
  • Recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems and improve overall system performance.
  • Maintain the highest level of technical skill and knowledge in the field of expertise.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Document and track issues, solutions, and user interactions to ensure comprehensive support records.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in providing technical support for PC, server, or mainframe applications and hardware.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint.
