Job description

Enterprise IT Support Officer (EITSO). Complex project implementation support (installations, cabling, LAN closet, telephony distribution closet, assistive technology, servers)
• Provides technical support and customer service to the organization's users of computer applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, servers, mainframes)
• Answers questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status and downtime procedures; may be located within a call center
• Collaborates with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems
• Maintains a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems
• Performs routine assignments in the entry level
• Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems
• Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others
• Requires conceptual knowledge of practices and procedures
• No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for own contribution
• Solves routine problems using existing procedures and standard practices
• Has limited impact on own work team; works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
