Job description

SCOPE OF POSITION:

The Main Bank Cashier is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Main Bank, including daily operation, administration, maintenance and protection of the Casino bankroll. The Main Bank Cashier's performance is necessary for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following are major duties and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive.

  • Performs all functions in accordance with applicable laws and gaming regulations, the mission statement, and objectives of Comanche Nation Entertainment, as well as established policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Provides directions, assistance, and/or information as may be required to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Counts and balances funds in Main Bank with an outgoing banker at start of shift; verifies totals.
  • Receives and verifies currency, coins, tokes, and tickets to and from the coin vault, window, and vault bank; prepares necessary paperwork to document transfers.
  • Prepares and releases imprest funds to cashiers and revenue areas.
  • Balances all recorded transactions in the vault balance sheet and verifies totals against monies on hand at the end of each shift.
  • Will work as a Cage Cashier when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

The Main Bank Cashier regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests and operates office equipment and money counters. The Main Bank Cashier is occasionally required to reach with hands. The Main Bank Cashier must regularly stand for 50% or more of their shift. The Main Bank Cashier may be required to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where there may be flashing lights, and the noise levels vary from quiet to loud depending on the time of day, the specific location, and the amount of business. The Main Bank Cashier must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility.

The Main Bank Cashier may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve contentious issues with difficult guests and staff members.
