ELECTRICIAN / MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Up to $30.00 an hour based on experience
Sign on bonus of $500 based on background and work experience
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment breakdowns
• Use of analog, digital test equipment, and electrical tools
• Experience with networked I/O PLC networks and industrial networking.
• Servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of DC drives and Servo drives
• PLC troubleshooting, repair, and replacement
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Knowledge of NEC and OSHA regulations
• Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Experience with the following helpful:
• Ability to perform minor power projects which include conduit and wiring installation
• Ability to understand complex electrical and pneumatic control diagrams
• Knowledge or ability to use machine shop equipment
• HVAC experience
• Familiarity with newspaper printing presses and mailroom processing equipment
On-the-job training where needed
Requirements:
• 3 years of Industrial electrical / maintenance
• Experience working with voltages of 600 volts or less and associated equipment
• Strong communication skills
• Motivated
• Microsoft office applications or similar
• Physical requirements include but are not limited to climbing and working from ladders and steps, working in some confined spaces, periodic moderate to heavy lifting as related to various jobs
• Work schedule is nights, weekends, and holidays
• The team will assist with training
