Job Description
  • This position is for Mail Table Operator 3 on the 12-hr front half day shift (7am - 7pm) (Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, every other Thursday).
  • Pay for this position starts at $18.56/hr for candidates with little to no experience. Candidates with relevant experience are eligible for a higher rate of pay.

Requirements:
  • Operate machines that automatically addresses, weighs, and ties into bundles printed publications, such as magazines, catalogs, and pamphlets, for mailing according to zip code
  • Review manufacturing instructions to determine type and size of publication scheduled for mailing
  • Make adjustments to guides, rollers, loose card inserter, weighing machine, and tying arm, using rule and hand tools
  • Records production according to customer name and zip code, and machine down time due to malfunctions or lack of work
  • Processes and ships outgoing small package parcels such as UPS, Federal Express, and DHL

Qualifications
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of equipment set up, adjustment, operating procedures, and a corresponding level of skill to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment
  • Able to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment, and in addition, diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality and timeliness of the service or product or function
  • May instruct junior level operators how to complete the required corrective adjustment
  • Typically, corrective adjustments performed require the operator to consider the symptom(s), possible causes and remedies

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $18.56 to $27.99 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
