Be part of a growing and prospering company as a Flexible Spending/HRA Coordinator in our Cedar Rapids, IA office. Auxiant is a third party administrator of self-funded employee benefit plans with offices in Cedar Rapids, IA, Madison and Milwaukee, WI. Auxiant is a fast-growing,progressive company offering an excellent wage and benefit package.
Job Summary:
Responsible for the administration and customer service of Flexible Spending and HRA plans. Including claims processing, customer service, client communication, banking, system administration, account reconciliation, and client reporting.
Essential Functions:

  • Daily processing of Flex/HRA claims, enrollment changes, and substantiating flex debit card charges
  • Answer phone calls and email correspondence on Flex/HRA questions from plan participants and client contacts
  • Daily banking tasks including pulling funding from clients and initiating payment to plan participants
  • Send outgoing mail
  • Process incoming mail
  • Run and post weekly claim bills for Flex/HRA claims
  • Assist in monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Run and post monthly reporting
  • Assist in plan building and enrollment at plan renewal
  • Assist in plan setup and implementation of new Flex/HRA clients and plans
Nonessential Functions:
  • Other duties as assigned or appropriate
Education/Qualifications:
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, meet established deadlines and change as business needs require
  • Proficient PC skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet,10-key
  • Proven experience in a professional office environment
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong financial communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Some College and 1-2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Flexible Spending Administration / technology helpful
