What You'll Do
The General Clerk position at Grand River Health is a vital role within the Patient Financial Services team. The primary focus is on managing cash reimbursement processes, including accurately posting all cash and check transactions received by the facility. As a collaborative member of the Patient Financial Services team, this role also includes opportunities for cross-training with other department members. Daily tasks involve a variety of clerical duties. Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring cash payments and reimbursements are processed accurately
  • Responding to emails and phone calls
  • Handling departmental mail
  • Generating reports
  • Managing document scanning and deposits

Who We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Relevant work experience in a similar position preferred.
