Job description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A remote Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) opportunity is available for a licensed California pharmacist to oversee mail order pharmacy operations specializing in pet medications. This contract role spans at least 13 weeks with the flexibility to work remotely, providing an ideal environment for pharmacists seeking part-time hours with guaranteed pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge for California-based pharmacy operations.
  • Provide remote verification of prescriptions and pharmacy functions.
  • Ensure compliance with state pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain quality and accuracy in prescription processing.
  • Monitor and manage pharmacy workflow remotely, supporting the mail order segment focused on pet medications.
