Job description

TMG is looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic team players interested in a career rather than just a job. With a team of over 1,500 nationwide associates, TMG is seeking an individual who can uniquely contribute to our 30+ years of success in the industry.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for performing scheduled courier runs for the client, including, but not limited to, carrying articles, documents, and signature-controlled documents between locations.
  • Responsible to reconcile all signature-controlled packages to be sure any packages signed for are properly delivered to customer site.
  • Sorting, delivering, and picking up mail from the post office and client offices; and other duties as directed.
  • Responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail (e.g. letters, parcels, U.S. Postal, and interdepartmental) to appropriate recipients and departments.
  • Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using computer or service provider's equipment.
  • Receive and deliver accountable mail using tracking system. Capturing a signature for every package delivered
  • Scan and email mail for specific departments.
  • Provide information to supervisors by telephone, regarding any delay of delivery, damaged mail/packages or volume fluctuation.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality.
  • Complete additional deliveries outside scheduled runs when requested by client.
  • Provide backup coverage for other employees as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs / push delivery cart / walk extended periods while making deliveries
  • 6 months to 1 year experience in a mail room or experience at FedEx / UPS / Courier Service
  • Proficiency in MS-Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive material.
