Mail Driver Job Summary:
We are seeking qualified, dependable Box Truck Driver with Medical Card to join our Mail team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading Mail from the Post Office into your truck, transporting the load to our warehouse, and unloading the Mail when you arrive. You will also load from our warehouse back to the Post Office. Our drivers must always drive safely and be professional and courteous. We prefer candidates who have at least 1-2years of truck driving experience and who know how to properly complete a Pre-Trip form.
Mail Driver Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries
Complete Pre-Trip before start of shift
Pick-up/drop-off loads & ensure Mail is ALWAYS secured
Communicate with Supervisor/Manager
Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
Adhere to company rules and regulations
Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions
Mail Driver Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Clean driving record with no moving violations
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as Forklift (We'll train)
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must pass a background check and drug test
  • Must have medical card
