Job Description:
Responsible for sorting incoming mail for approximately 175 offices. Sorts and bundles all mail that is destined for departments on mail route. Delivers and picks up mail at various departments. Picks up and delivers mail to and from the U.S. Postal Service.
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to operate a 3/4 ton cargo van to deliver and pick up mail at the U.S. Post Office and approximately 40 departments on and off campus. Demonstrated ability to sort incoming mail for approximately 175 offices. Demonstrated ability to acquire signatures for all accountable mail on route. Prepare off campus mail for postage. Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. Postal Service regulations and rates. Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lift, pull and load 40 - 70 lbs several times a day.
