Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Duration: 4 Months (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Wayzata, MN 55391
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM
Job Summary
The Mail Clerk (Customer Service Support) role assists with mail services, delivery operations, and basic customer service activities. This position supports internal order management processes while ensuring accurate handling of inbound and outbound mail, packages, and freight.
Key Responsibilities
Mail & Delivery Services (80%)
  • Sort, record, track, and deliver incoming USPS, inter-office, and international mail
  • Process outbound mail using Pitney Bowes equipment
  • Perform daily mail runs and collect outgoing mail
  • Receive, track, and deliver inbound packages and freight using SCLIntra
  • Operate mail inserting equipment for invoices and special projects
Customer & Administrative Support (20%)
  • Assist with fulfillment projects (assembly, labeling, etc.)
  • Handle customer inquiries related to mail and shipping services
  • Look up recipient information for incorrectly addressed mail
  • Maintain accurate employee and retiree mailing records
  • Support order intake, confirmation, processing, and fulfillment activities
  • Assist with order documentation, status updates, and issue resolution
  • Follow standard procedures for invoices, contracts, and order status
Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in mail and delivery services
  • Basic PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
  • Entry-level customer service experience
  • 1-2 years of dock or warehouse experience
