Job Summary/CompanySparks Group has partnered with a local organization in the Alexandria, VA area seeking a dependable and trustworthy Part-Time Mail Clerk to provide mail delivery and general office support across multiple locations. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to work independently while traveling between office sites.
Responsibilities:
  • Use a company vehicle to transport and deliver mail between various office locations.
  • Serve as a backup resource for mailroom and delivery operations.
  • Sort, organize, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail as needed.
  • Operate office copiers and other standard office equipment to assist staff.
  • Provide general administrative and office support as requested.
  • Pack and prepare orders or materials for pickup and delivery.
  • Safely handle and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when traveling between locations and handling mail or other materials.
  • Follow established procedures for mail delivery, office equipment, and vehicle use.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2 years of office support, mailroom, administrative, or related experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
